HawksDirect Payment Plan Agreement

Purchasing a membership on the HawksDirect payment plan indicates you have read and agreed to the terms and conditions of the below HawksDirect payment plan agreement.

  • (a) By purchasing a membership with the HawksDirect payment plan, you authorise the Hawthorn FC to arrange a transfer of funds from your nominated credit card in an amount applicable to your membership type and at intervals as advised in point B and C.
  • (b) Members on an Upfront Payment Plan will have their payments deducted on 1 November 2023.
  • (c) Members on a Monthly Payment plan will have their payments deducted on the first business day of each month starting 1 November 2023 and ending 1 August 2024.
  • (d) All members on the HawksDirect payment plan are automatically included into an Auto Renewal Agreement, facilitating automatic rollover of your memberships from year to year.

(e) Should a member be required to change categories of membership, the most appropriate membership according to the individual membership will be selected by Management. The selected membership will be applied to the member's HawksDirect membership. Members may be required to change membership categories for the following reasons:

  • A membership line is discontinued
  • The member is too old for that category according to AFL regulations
  • Membership terms and conditions have changed
  • Reserved seating allocations have changed
  • Continuously declining payments

(f) Members will be given at least 30 days’ notice in writing via email of changes in the new amount of their next season's membership and to the terms of the HawksDirect payment plan agreement. If you do not wish for your Membership to roll over into the following season, you will be required to opt out by calling the Membership department on (03) 9535 3045 by 4.30pm Wednesday 25 October 2023.

(g) Members can only opt out of the HawksDirect payment plan at the conclusion of their last instalment and the first instalment for the following season by contacting the Membership department via phone. All outstanding payments must be complete at time of opting out.

(h) Members applying for the HawksDirect payment plan for the first time, prior to the first scheduled payment on 1 November 2023 will have their first payment taken out upon receipt of application and then continue to have payments deducted as per the normal payment plan schedule. All members applying for HawksDirect after 1 November 2023 will have the total number of previously scheduled payments deducted upon receipt of application and then subsequent payments as per the normal payment plan schedule.

(i) If your debit is returned or dishonoured by your financial institution, an email, SMS, or letter will be sent requesting immediate payment. Any fees levied to you by your financial institution will be payable to you.

(j) It is your responsibility to ensure that: (1) the account details you have provided are correct and include notification should the expiry date change throughout the year (2) you have sufficient clear funds available in the nominated account, on the scheduled drawing date.

(k) If your membership is suspended or cancelled you will not be able to gain access to games including finals at the MCG, UTAS Stadium or Marvel Stadium or interstate. In addition, interstate members will be ineligible for a ticket to a game played in their state.

(l) If you believe a withdrawal has been initiated incorrectly, please contact Hawthorn FC Membership department on 1 3000 HAWKS (42957). You will receive a full refund of the withdrawal amount if we cannot substantiate the reason for the drawing.

(m) No refunds will be provided due to change of mind once the season begins.

(n) If you have an outstanding balance after the August instalment, this amount will be carried over and added to your 2025 renewal invoice. This payment must be paid upfront prior to renewing your 2025 membership. Members with an outstanding balance will be removed from the HawksDirect payment plan.

AFLW HawksDirect Payment Plan Agreement

(a) HawksDirect upfront and monthly payment plans for AFLW memberships will be automatically deducted from your nominated credit or debit card on 1 November 2023. Monthly instalments will continue on the first working day of each month until 1 August 2024.

  • Please ensure you have an active credit or debit card registered with us for your 2024 HawksDirect membership payments.
  • HawksDirect payment plans can only be paid via Visa or Mastercard credit or debit cards.
  • HawksDirect payment plans for AFLW memberships not previously on a HawksDirect payment plan are available in 5 monthly instalments (1 May 2024 - 1 Sep 2024) or one upfront instalment (1 May 2024)

To update your payment details or make changes to your 2024 Membership, please call the membership team on (03) 9535 3045 during business hours.

Members who sign up on HawksDirect 5 monthly payment plan, will roll over on the HawksDirect 10 monthly payment plan on 1 November 2024, unless opted out prior.

The following terms and conditions refer to members who receive a free membership upgrade and are utilizing our HawksDirect payment plan (upfront and monthly):

  • Members will receive official notification on package inclusions and pricing for the 2024 season as per HawksDirect Terms and Conditions listed above.
  • Members will be assigned the upgraded membership they held in 2023 for the 2024 season.
  • Members wishing to opt-out of the 2024 membership altogether or revert back to their original membership held can do so by contacting the Membership Team by phone on 1 3000 HAWKS (42957) prior to the deadline communicated in their 2024 renewal information.
  • Members who do not contact the club wishing to opt-out of their 2024 assigned membership will be rolled-over into their upgraded membership at the set cost for the membership which will be communicated in their 2024 renewal information.
